Drunk driver discovered slumped over the wheel arrested by Texas constables

In Houston, Texas, a suspected drunk driver was apprehended by deputies from Harris County Precinct 4 on December 15, 2024. This arrest came following a report of a man found slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle on Louetta Road in the 8200 block.

Constable Mark Herman stated that emergency responders had to forcefully enter the vehicle in order to awaken the driver, who was identified as Tyler Meanor. Meanor exhibited several indications of impairment and declined to participate in field sobriety tests. Consequently, a search warrant was acquired to obtain a blood specimen.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Meanor had been released on a $100 bond for a previous charge of Driving While Intoxicated in October 2024.

According to a statement from Constable Mark Herman, Tyler Meanor has been arrested and taken into custody at the Harris County Jail. He is being charged with Driving While Intoxicated and his bond has been set at $200 in County Court 14.
