Coralville man allegedly beats someone up during a burglary at an Iowa City apartment

A Coralville resident has been charged with First Degree Burglary after allegedly assaulting an individual at their Iowa City apartment. The incident involved a physical altercation, and the accused has been implicated in the act of perpetrating the violent attack.

According to a criminal complaint, the victim’s apartment was approached by 24-year-old Semaj House along with two juveniles. As soon as the victim opened the door, House started punching them without any provocation.

According to reports, the Ring camera positioned in the victim’s living room recorded the incident.

House has been accused of committing First Degree Burglary.

The police have not disclosed any details about the possible charges that the juveniles involved in this case may face. It is also unclear if House will be facing any additional charges at this time.
