Californian surprised by how Texans act at the waterpark

Have you heard about the recent viral TikTok video of a California woman who was amazed at how Texans behave at the Waterpark? The video shows her shock at Texans leaving their belongings unattended while enjoying the Waterpark, and yet nobody rummages or steals anything. In the end, she exclaims, “…and that is why we moved to Texas!” The woman, known as psychollly, couldn’t believe her eyes, and the comments on the video are just as entertaining. It’s fascinating to see how different regions have their own unique customs and behaviors.

As a Texan resident, I have always felt secure about leaving my belongings on tables while enjoying different water parks, such as Splashway, Schilterbahn, Splashtown (may it rest in peace), Fiesta Texas, or Sea World San Antonio. I have never encountered any issues with theft or damage to my belongings.

We Miss Splashtown San Antonio – Abandoned Photos

It’s been almost three years since Splashtown closed down, and it still saddens me to think about it. I came across a photo on social media the other day, and it brought back a flood of memories. Without a doubt, Splashtown in San Antonio was my go-to waterpark in the city. It was not only affordable but also never too crowded, making it the perfect place to cool off and have some fun.
