California Police Discover Two Bodies In An Abandoned Truck Up In The Mountains
Police and detectives in California are investigating why two bodies were discovered in an abandoned pickup truck in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
The truck was discovered on Highway 35 and Skyline Boulevard, roughly three miles south of Castle Rock State Park. The bodies were found in the back of a huge Ford Heavy Duty truck.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that this is an active and ongoing investigation. Two deceased people were found in the vehicle, although their deaths were not observed. They are classified as suspicious until a coroner determines the reason and manner of death.
According to NBC Bay Area, if the autopsy report reveals foul play, they will pursue a few investigative leads. But it’s still a mystery. The truck was in an area with few people and no visible surveillance cameras.
Police escorted a tow truck to transport the truck away. Nonetheless, Castle Rock remains a popular hiking destination. Because of the park’s popularity, some visitors were taken aback by the dismal finding.
Unfortunately, questions will stay unanswered until the coroner can provide some clues. Investigators are still unsure of the deceased’s identities. Stay tuned for developments.
