Boyfriend would intentionally torture and regularly beat his girlfriend’s little children to the point where both children were sent to the hospital with severe injuries, sentenced

Houston, TX – Court documents reveal that the 45-year-old defendant, identified as Victor, received a life sentence (two terms) after being found guilty of multiple charges, including injury to children. He must serve at least 30 years before being eligible for parole. Prosecutors stated that Victor abused his partner’s children, aged 3 and 4, by beating them, depriving them of food, tying them up, and other cruel actions.

The court documents indicate that the defendant intentionally abused and tortured the two young children. The investigation began four years ago when both children were admitted to Texas Children’s Hospital with severe injuries. Hospital staff contacted authorities after discovering the 4-year-old boy had a facial contusion, wrist marks, and was severely malnourished. Tests also revealed the boy had suffered permanent brain tissue loss.

The boy’s younger sister was also admitted to the hospital. Responding officers found that the 3-year-old girl had a feeding tube in her nose due to intestinal bleeding, likely caused by trauma. She also had bruises all over her body and broken ribs. During the investigation, authorities contacted the property owner where the defendant and his girlfriend were living. Prosecutors said the property, which lacked a shower and kitchen, was unsuitable for children.

The property owner reportedly told investigators that he noticed the defendant and his girlfriend were leaving the children alone at night. When asked about the children, the mother reportedly told him they were inside, tied up with zip ties. The man, who filed a complaint with CPS that month, also questioned the defendant about not feeding the children, as he noticed they were being starved. The defendant allegedly responded that it was to prevent the kids from needing to use the bathroom.
