Philadelphia police have apprehended a suspect in the homicide case of Jocelynn Marshall, 35, and Terrell Sanders, 39, who were tragically killed in North Philly just last month.
Bilal Simmons, aged 46, faces charges of murder and related offenses in connection with the tragic killing of the couple.
According to insider reports received by FOX 29’s own Steve Keeley, law enforcement officials have successfully apprehended the double murder suspect on Sunday. This arrest comes just one day after an arrest warrant for the suspect was issued.
Just days after grieving family members of Jocelynn Marshall and Terrell Sanders made emotional pleas for answers, an arrest has been made in connection with their cases.
On December 19th, both families received the call they had been dreading.
Terrell, a diligent school bus driver, found himself celebrating his son’s first birthday.
His sister, Kamirah Thomas, stated, “My brother was not this bad person. He didn’t have enemies. He did not live his life like that. Terrell wasn’t a troubled person. He did not get in any trouble. He was not one of those people, he didn’t live that type of life.”
Jocelynn was an employee at Tastycake and has a six-year-old kid.
Jocelyn was a long-time and faithful Tastykake employee who never missed work without first informing them.
“Once HR started reaching out, it’s like something is really wrong. Thank God she had a job who cares about the employees,” said Breya Marshall, Jocelyn’s sister.
Jocelyn’s funeral was this past Saturday and Terrell’s was last Thursday.
The investigation is still ongoing.
