Breaking News: ‘Armed and Dangerous’ Suspect Sought After Warren County Shooting Death

WARREN COUNTY, Mo. – Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect considered “armed and dangerous” in connection with a shooting death that occurred Friday in Warren County.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Department reports that 38-year-old James Frazer has been moving between locations around Wright City and Lincoln County since the shooting incident.

Frazer is wanted for the death of a 49-year-old man, who was found dead with a gunshot wound on Friday morning in the 29000 block of Bobwhite Lane. As of Saturday, authorities have not revealed the identity of the victim.

Frazer is described as being 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black ball cap, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans, and work boots.

“Investigators with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, and Missouri State Highway Patrol have been in contact with family, friends, and associates of the suspect to either persuade him to surrender or gather information on his whereabouts for his arrest,” the Warren County Sheriff’s Department stated in a release on Saturday.
