Amish Buggies Targeted By Armed Robbers On Pennsylvania Roads: State Police

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating two robberies that took place within minutes of each other, both involving an Amish buggy.

On March 27, a dark vehicle approached an Amish buggy along Leesburg Station Road in Wilmington Township.

Police claim the armed passenger demanded the victim’s money, but the robbery failed.

However, a subsequent robbery on Number 8 Road in Lackawannock Township resulted in the theft of the victim’s wallet.

This time, police say a passenger in a black vehicle aimed a pistol at the victims.

The PSP Mercer Station encourages anyone with information to contact them, as they might be eligible for a monetary prize.
