You should start preparing yourself now because the weather in Missouri is about to get wild, and if the computer models are accurate, it won’t be long before things take a turn.
Ryan Hall, one of the most entertaining weather personalities on the internet, who runs the Ryan Hall Y’all YouTube channel, has spotted what he calls a “plot twist” in the current weather patterns. Missouri looks to be right in the heart of the action.
Ryan warns that “all heck is about to break loose” around December 10 and December 11. The wind speed chart suggests there’s a strong possibility of severe thunderstorms developing across Missouri.
Just three days later, on December 14, another trough is expected to impact the state, bringing even more storms.
And there’s more to come. On Wednesday, December 18, a significant temperature drop is predicted to hit Missouri. A pocket of cold air could plunge temperatures 30 to 40 degrees below normal.
Ryan’s breakdown of all this is worth watching, as he’s better at explaining the details of weather than I am.
As he points out (and I will too), these models are looking a couple of weeks ahead, so things could change. But I’d start preparing now for some volatile weather starting after December 10 in Missouri. It’s coming, in one form or another.
