According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a tragic two-vehicle accident in Conecuh County claimed the life of a Tennessee woman early on Sunday morning.
According to a release by ALEA, Rachel Marcum, a 51-year-old resident of Mooresburg, Tennessee, lost her life in a head-on collision with a tractor-trailer while driving her own vehicle.
According to the release, Marcum was not wearing a seatbelt during the crash and was declared dead at the scene.
On the early morning of July 7th, a collision occurred on U.S. 31, specifically three miles north of Castleberry.
The investigation into the matter is still ongoing by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division.
