According to prosecutors, Frances Walker, a 69-year-old woman, was murdered in October 2022, shortly after she made the decision to evict Sandra Kolalou from her boarding home in Arcadia Terrace. The decision was made after receiving complaints from other tenants.
According to reports, she held a tow truck driver at knifepoint while disposing of evidence.
In the month of April, Kolalou was found guilty of committing murder, dismemberment, and identity theft. As a result of her actions, she has been sentenced to serve 58 years in prison.
Kolalou’s crime was compared to a scene straight out of a horror movie by a judge in Cook County. The judge also noted that Kolalou showed no signs of remorse for their actions.
Kolalou expressed her remorse to the family of Walker during the trial and emphasized that she did not commit the crime of murder.
