A suspect has been apprehended in connection with the tragic killing of a Rumpke driver in Roselawn last March.
According to the Cincinnati Police, Corderrell Lovett, aged 36, is being charged for the murder of Angel Flores, who was sitting inside his truck at the time of the incident.
Police reported that Angel, who was 30 years old, was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds on Eastlawn Drive close to Crestlawn Avenue.
Around 2:30 a.m. on March 11, the Rumpke truck was discovered behind an apartment building near a dumpster.
Angel’s wife Kaitlyn expressed her relief over the arrest, stating, “It is a bittersweet day for me and my family, but we hope justice will be served.” She also mentioned that she keeps Angel’s memory alive every day, and appreciated the hard work of the detectives in bringing justice to her family and Angel. This statement was given to FOX19.
Since 2019, Angel had been working as a residential driver at Rumpke.
According to the company, the victim was driving along his usual route when the tragic incident occurred.
