Gruesome footage captured two brothers, both covered in blood, strolling casually down a Brooklyn street after being slashed late Wednesday.
The 25-year-old and 27-year-old brothers were standing at the corner of Emerson Place and Myrtle Avenue, near Pratt Institute in Clinton Hill, around 11:30 p.m., when they were suddenly attacked by two other men, according to police sources.
The younger brother sustained a cut on his head, while the older brother was slashed on the neck, authorities reported.
The footage, obtained by FREEDOMNEWS TV, shows the brothers walking down the sidewalk with one brother’s face and a significant portion of his white T-shirt drenched in blood.
The other brother has a trickle of blood running down one side of his face.
As the brothers pass by, a man standing close to the curb seems to ignore the bleeding men. Nearby, a woman near the storefronts covers her mouth in shock at the horrifying scene.
Both men were transported to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.
The scene left behind included a bloody shattered glass bottle and a pair of discarded sneakers.
No arrests have been made, and the motive for the attack, as well as whether the brothers knew their assailants, remains unclear as of Thursday.
