The incident occurred in the village of Monroe back in February 2023. The plea was entered on Tuesday, Aug. 6 in Orange County Court and was announced by Hoovler on Friday, Aug. 9.
As per the DA’s Office, a different member of the robbery team claimed to have a gun and kept their hand concealed in their jacket pocket.

In his plea proceedings, Karambe confessed to attempting to steal property through force along with the assistance of another individual present at the location, according to the DA’s Office.
