The Fordham Manor robbery and assault case has led the New York City Police Department to seek the assistance of the public in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached video and photos. The NYPD is urging anyone who recognizes these individuals to come forward and provide any information that may aid in the investigation.
The events of July 26th occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, at approximately 3:20 a.m., according to authorities.
According to reports, a man who was 69 years old was walking near the intersection of Davidson Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road when he was attacked. An unknown male placed him in a chokehold, while six other men started going through his pockets. They stole $200 and his cell phone.
According to sources, the group has reportedly escaped to undisclosed locations.
According to the police, the victim received medical treatment for minor injuries at St. Barnabas Hospital.
