HOUSTON – A 12-year-old girl has been accused of smothering and killing her 8-year-old cousin over an iPhone.
The county’s prosecutor stated that a security camera recorded the incident inside the bedroom the young girls shared.
The footage reveals the older girl using bedding to suffocate her cousin while she slept in the top bunk.
After the child died, the juvenile cleaned up and repositioned the victim’s body.
