Alexis received an overwhelming response from her fans, who flooded her comments section with words of admiration after being inspired by her empowering message.
On Instagram, a person wrote, “I applaud you for speaking out!!” as a victim of domestic violence. They added, “I plan on helping women like us as well.”
One individual expressed their gratitude, stating, “You have stood up for all women, and we thank you. What you went through must have been difficult, and we’re sorry for that. Thank you for using your voice and speaking out.”
According to Alexis, standing up for individuals who have suffered from relationship violence was important to her. She had gone through it herself, and it was a problem that affected other members of her family too.
In an interview published on July 18 by KSN News, she shared that every woman in her family has been affected by domestic violence.
As Miss Kansas, Alexis found a chance to shift her focus towards empowering women while working for the Miss Kansas Organization. She is thrilled that her current role allows her to give back to her community as a woman who once needed the same support and encouragement.
She emphasized the importance of service and community involvement, encouraging individuals to not only focus on personal growth but also on improving their community. “Discuss your social impact and initiatives,” she added, highlighting the significance of making a positive difference. She expressed great enthusiasm towards the idea of making a substantial impact on a larger scale.
