Making it easier for gun owners to obtain ammunition is the goal of one company.
According to American Rounds’ website, they are introducing vending machines that will be open 24/7 and will be stocked with ammunition in grocery stores across the United States. This allows customers to purchase ammunition at their convenience and without the hassle of store hours and long lines.
Multiple grocery stores across Alabama and Oklahoma have already installed vending machines, which require buyers to show their ID and be at least 21 years old. The company behind these kiosks has stated that they utilize facial recognition software to authenticate the buyer’s identity.
According to Grant Magers, the CEO of American Rounds, the company is obligated to maintain records of customer transactions as per state regulations. However, it’s important to note that the company does not disclose this information to anyone. In an interview with KOCO in Oklahoma, Magers clarified this point.
According to reports, the kiosks offer a diverse selection of rounds and customers can buy as many as they want in one go.
The company aims to broaden its reach by extending its vending machines to other states, including Ohio, where none are currently available.
