On Mother’s Day, Anita Darling, Martinez’s mother, was informed about the discovery.
According to Fox Atlanta, Darling expressed her desire to uncover the truth about what happened to her daughter. Although it won’t bring her daughter back, it would ease the pain of not knowing the details of her daughter’s fate. “It doesn’t cure the loss by any means, but it fills a hole that my brain doesn’t have to make up what happened for the rest of our lives,” she stated.
Authorities have reported that three individuals, namely Allen Kerr, Sean Deshazer, and Jasmine Craig, have been taken into custody. The trio has been charged with a felony offense of concealing a death. While Kerr, 32, and Deshazer, 27, were already under arrest for unrelated charges, Craig was apprehended in a different jurisdiction.
A third suspect, along with Kerr, 32, and Deshazer, 27, has been apprehended in relation to the passing of a Georgia woman who was reported missing and later found deceased in Tennessee. The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office released this information.
At the time of his arrest, Deshazer was facing multiple drug charges which included possession of cocaine and marijuana, trafficking illegal drugs, and carrying a weapon during the commission of a crime.
Authorities had detained Kerr due to alleged involvement in drug and weapons possession, as well as willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
