Pennsylvania residents can now access free air conditioners through a utility assistance program.
LIHEAP, which stands for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, is currently providing aid for acquiring air conditioners.
Eligible families can receive either a two-room air conditioner or a combination of one air conditioner unit and a fan through the program.
In order to be eligible, you must have received some type of LIHEAP aid within the previous year or currently be receiving federal weatherization assistance.
