Houston Father Fights to Bring Deported Wife and Children Back to the States
A Houston father, Federico Arellano, is facing a heartbreaking battle as he tries to reunite with his wife, Christina Salazar, and their four children, who were unexpectedly deported. Arellano, a U.S.-born citizen, was shocked by the sudden separation from his family. The family’s attorney, Silvia Mintz, revealed that Salazar and her children were working in Congressman Al Green’s office, which added to the unusual circumstances of their deportation.
Mintz emphasized that Salazar has a clean record, is legally married to an American citizen, and their newborns were born on U.S. soil. This unexpected turn of events has left Arellano devastated, especially with the holiday season approaching. He had anticipated celebrating Christmas with his wife and children, but now he finds himself fighting to bring them back to the States.
