A man was taken into custody on December 16, 2024, in Montgomery County, Texas, after a traffic stop in the 37305 block of FM 1774. Deputies from the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office made the arrest on charges of methamphetamine possession and bribery.
According to a press release from the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office, the man, whose identity has not been revealed, had methamphetamine in his possession and attempted to bribe the officers in order to avoid going to jail. He was subsequently transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with possession of a controlled substance and bribery.
