KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department announced Tuesday that the individual found shot in a car over the weekend was a teenager.
KCKPD officers responded to the 200 block of Quindaro Boulevard at approximately 11:22 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024.
Upon arrival, they discovered the body of a person, initially identified as an adult male, in the front seat. The individual appeared to have gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Dec. 3, the KCKPD identified the victim as 17-year-old Nicholas Brooks, a Kansas City, Kansas resident.
