More snow is on the way, with many parts of New York State expected to see at least 12 inches.
In fact, 12 inches is considered light compared to what some towns will experience by Tuesday morning. According to the Erie County Executive, southern Erie County could receive up to 12 more inches of snow, while Chautauqua County might see up to 30 inches.
The weather in Buffalo was a major talking point during the game in Orchard Park, New York. The snow began almost exactly as the kickoff occurred. As the announcers noted, it’s remarkable how one part of Western New York can be blanketed in feet of snow, while just a few minutes away, the ground remains clear. Some towns reported snow totals exceeding 20 inches, while just 15 minutes down Transit Road, the scene was completely different.
