Earlier this month, law enforcement officials apprehended two men in Gwinnett for conducting illegal surveillance on an individual for over a week and subsequently robbing them.
Suwanee police stopped a vehicle on June 1 containing two individuals, namely 43-year-old Robinsson Perez Chaparro from Norcross and 23-year-old Ronald Alexander Pulido from Duluth.
After being confronted by the police, both men attempted to flee but were eventually apprehended.
Upon searching the vehicle, law enforcement officers stumbled upon a substantial sum of money, as well as jewelry and a passport that did not belong to the driver. In addition, detectives uncovered high-end handbags, tools, and a surveillance camera.
Upon arriving at the passport owner’s residence, Gwinnett police officers uncovered a broken window situated at the back of the house.
After thorough investigation, it was discovered that the two individuals had been monitoring the activities of a nearby business owner starting from May 23.
They accused both individuals of committing first-degree burglary, unlawful surveillance, and loitering and prowling.
The police department in Suwannee has levied charges of obstruction, theft by taking, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime against both suspects.
They took both Chaparro and Pulido to Gwinnett County Jail.
