The discovery of a 33-year-old woman dead inside a home on the Near West Side on Wednesday night prompted the launch of a death investigation.
Around 8 p.m., police officers discovered the woman unresponsive with head damage inside a home in the 15000 block of West Warren Boulevard, according to CPD. Police pronounced her dead on the scene.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has yet to reveal her identity.
Detectives from Area Three are conducting an investigation.
No other information was provided.
