Three Washington, D.C. men have been arrested and accused in connection with a string of 7-Eleven ATM robberies in Maryland, which allegedly netted them $200,000 in cash.
The accused were identified as Jeff Crews, 33; David Jerome Walker, 39; and Maurice Roots, 34. Crews and Walker are suspected of targeting businesses in Prince George’s County from January 29 to February 22, while Roots has been charged with the February 22 robbery.

Investigators think the perpetrators used hydraulic rescue tools, sometimes known as “jaws of life,” to break into ATMs in Beltsville, Upper Marlboro, Lanham, and Oxon Hill. According to police, the individuals are suspected of additional robberies and face pending accusations.
On March 19, authorities apprehended the suspects and reportedly seized cash, guns, and several cars linked to the crimes. Crews is facing 43 counts, Walker 45 charges, and Roots 7 charges. Prince George’s County and Washington, DC are detaining all of them.
