Franklyn Dominguez, aged 35, and Anthony Douglas, aged 67, have been identified as the deceased prisoners.
Both individuals were discovered deceased at Sing Sing Correctional Facility within a span of approximately four hours on Wednesday.
According to the Gothamist, Douglas, a Brooklyn resident, had spent approximately 40 years in prison after being found guilty of murder, rape, and burglary.
Dominguez has been incarcerated since 2022 for an assault conviction in New York City.

According to CBS 6 Albany, the Auburn Correctional Facility recently experienced the deaths of three inmates. One of them was Jonathan Grant, a 61-year-old man who was found unresponsive in his cell. Grant had been serving a lengthy prison sentence of almost 40 years for charges of rape and burglary in Brooklyn.
Autopsy results are eagerly awaited by authorities to determine the cause of death.
