Three individuals were apprehended in Greensville, Virginia, following the discovery of a former correctional officer and two accomplices engaging in the illicit activities of drug smuggling and contraband sales at the Greensville Correctional Center.
On March 1, the Office of Law Enforcement Services (OLES) Special Agents at the Virginia Department of Corrections received a report from Greensville Correctional Center. The report stated that Xavier Campbell, who was a Correctional Officer at Greensville at the time, had been spreading rumors about being paid to smuggle contraband into the prison.
