A traffic stop by Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Criminal Interdiction Unit led to the arrest of two Houston males after a K9 unit discovered drugs in their vehicle.
Anthony Hernandez and Jose Hernandez, both members of the Tango Blast gang, were driving a white Ford Expedition when the event occurred.
A news release from the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office stated that the occupants were held because their actions prompted the deployment of a K9 deputy. The K9 alerted deputies to the presence of drugs, prompting a search that revealed many baggies of cocaine spread around the vehicle’s floorboard.
Anthony Hernandez and Jose Hernandez were arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. They were then put into the Montgomery County Jail, according to the constable’s office.
