The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) announced that Justin J. Rhodes, 35, and Fuqron Nelson, 38, were arrested and charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty and conspiracy.
Both males were arrested on Thursday after an investigation by the Sumter Police Department and Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Rhodes and Nelson face two counts of conspiracy and four counts of animal cruelty.
Both males were booked into the Sumter County Detention Center.
The 3rd Circuit Solicitor’s Office will prosecute the case.
