During a drug bust yesterday, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Special Operations Unit and agents from the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division apprehended two men. Officers executed a search warrant from the 13300 block of Veterans Memorial Drive, which resulted in this major seizure.
Timothy Nealy and Jamile Grimble were apprehended within the premises, armed with loaded firearms and surrounded by a cache of illegal narcotics. Once again, these two previously convicted offenders found themselves in trouble with the law. According to a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman, they were in possession of over 33 pounds of marijuana, various amounts of Xanax, suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, morphine, several pressed pills, carisoprodol, oxycodone, cyclobenzaprine, a large amount of promethazine, THC edibles, and THC pens.
The constables did not simply seize drugs; they also recovered over $11,000 in cash and a vehicle, both of which were thought to be proceeds from illegal narcotics distribution. Constable Canine “Rambo Tom Ramsey” lent his nose to the ensuing investigation, assisting with narcotics discovery.
Nealy and Grimble were charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of marijuana. “Timothy Nealy and Jamile Grimble were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail,” said Constable Mark Herman’s office in its report on the bust.
