A A vehicle pursuit near the Harris County line resulted in the arrest of two individuals on March 23, 2025, as reported by the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office. The chase concluded in a residential area, where both individuals tried to flee on foot.
Constable Jones’ deputies attempted to stop a car on SH 249, but the male driver refused to cooperate, resulting in a pursuit into Harris County. After a brief foot chase, the Harris County Precinct 4 Constables Department assisted in apprehending both individuals.
Inside the vehicle, deputies recovered stolen mail, IDs, and methamphetamine.
The male driver, who had an outstanding Pardon and Parole warrant, is charged with avoiding arrest in a motor vehicle, possession of identifying information, and possession of a prohibited narcotic. They accused the female passenger of evading arrest on foot and possessing outstanding local warrants.
Both suspects were taken to the Montgomery County Jail, according to the agency.
